According to old mythology Brahmbhatts are the Manas Putra of Brahma Creator God.
Brahma the Creator---created men with ability to reproduce rear and enlarge the whole society with all his creative abilities. In order to ensure proper functioning of the society, Brahmaji created 10 Manas Putras named Ved Vyas, Vashsistha, Narad, Sant Kumar etc. and directed them to work amongst society, and they worked very well for the upliftment of the society.
Brahmaji realized the need of Kavi who, with a creative ability of his language, can show the true meaning of life and living. With this realization, Brahmaji with his profound knowledge of Karmayagna rendered highest thought provoking offerings in the Yagna. From that Yagna incarnated a Kavi Rushi there is mention of these Yagna in Mahabharata Anushashan Parva-8th Adhay
Bhrahambhatts were given due respect in society and were called ‘Deviputra’ (Son of God). They used to be in ‘Rajdarbar’ (committee of the king) as a poet or adviser of king.
